In 2016, a small group put on a two-day workshop titled "Creating Art: A Ladder For The Soul." This attracted a group of about 25 artists from various genres. That group greatly enjoyed the presentations and sharing that happened. Following that workshop, the group continued to meet monthly to share their art and their efforts. Eventually, the group decided another workshop was needed, so "Voice of Art" was created to do that in 2018. Voice of Art has continued with activities and regular gatherings since.
